Show, PiPodium

Pseudo-English is an auditory illusion. The gallery space needed to be an extension of that illusion, I wanted to eliminate all possible references indicating where the boundaries of the room started or ended. Darkness was definitely helpful for that, but I wanted the system to be visible this time. Visually, I wanted the gallery to look like a station of some sort, or an infrastructure for movements of my sound machines.

This is a short video of PiPodium. Many cameras can image a wider color spectrum than human eye can see. (i.e. ultraviolet, and infrared). The whole show was lit by ultraviolet lights. Because of the visual sensitivity of the cam corder, there are some details especially in the background in this footage that were not visible to the human eye. Still images give a better idea of the overall look of the show due to the high quality ultraviolet filter used.
