The Entry , a Short Description:The Entry was the first piece done by using Pseudo-English. It was an experimental sound/language installation/performance art show. The gallery was dark, five sets of panels were hang to divide the space in a mazelike fashion. As the audience tried to navigate, they would bump into the dividers and the sway would enhance the experience of the show. Pseudo-English recordings were playing on certain corners. The only visible object was a false "exit" sign at the end of the gallery where there was a very carefully lit cubicle and in it I, as the performer sat. Because of the lighting, viewers mistook me for a hologram, and they would tap onto the glass window of the cubicle to activate the hologram, or me. Video of this project will be available shortly.
